The art of the blend, the most foundational element of a DJ’s toolkit. Sometimes when you make two records talk to each other really nice, you have to make that union permanent in a way that can be repeated. A blend inspired by spinning in the moment becomes a sum bigger than the two parts. A great blend is that new song that you already know.
So I took it back to the essence to prime the pump for some other things I’m working on. Just knocked out a few tasty blends to reset the creative process, add some more goodies to the library and give my cool DJ friends something nice to play in their sets. These are Vibe Conductor Vignettes. More of them to come.
