“In the Artist’s Studio” features independent artists from various musical genres performing and discussing in an intimate setting. The event offers attendees a full experience that is one part performance, and one part live interview conducted by “Going out Guru” Rhome Anderson of washingtonpost.com (that’s me). In each edition, the featured artist not only shares her or his story, but also offers insight into what it means to be an independent artist in the 21st century.
